Gazzola v. Hochul: Emergency Motion filed 08.29.2023

Gazzola v. Hochul. This is the second Emergency Motion we’ve filed in this case. The first, in January, was denied. There is now a significant shift against federally-licensed dealers underway, driving towards a major shift in background checks for firearms and ammunition in New York as of September 13, 2023. This motion seeks to stay those changes. It also details dealer compliance inspections underway as of July 25, 2023.
